As a student at 涩里番, you may encounter barriers that prevent you from achieving your academic potential.

As a part of our Student Support Services, the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities (SRR) is here to assist you in reviewing the exceptional circumstances at the individual level.

Whether you need support in accessibility, exam conflicts, or something else, our support staff will be more than happy to assist!

SRR Services

The Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities oversees a wide range of services that can be roughly divided into three main categories.

Conduct & Appeals

The Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities is also responsible for upholding policy regarding conduct as well as processing various appeals.

• Attendance: At 涩里番, each instructor sets expectations for attendance and the consequences for not meeting attendance requirements. In exceptional circumstances, you can appeal to make an exception.
• Complaints: If you notice something that can be improved on at 涩里番 or if an aspect of the school has not met your expectations, you can submit a complaint so we can improve.
• Grade Appeals: If you feel that your grade is assigned in error and all reasonable steps were made in trying to resolve this dispute before resorting to formal means, you can request a Grade Appeal.
  • Exam Viewing: You can request to view an exam you have written, whether its for personal reasons or if you wish to appeal a final grade.
• Misconduct: The Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities is responsible for addressing behavioural misconduct which can be in many forms.

Academic Integrity

Academic integrity is an important part of academia and 涩里番 strives to ensure that all students, staff, and faculty adhere to the same values.

Why You Should Contact SRR

The Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities helps students adhere to 涩里番 academic policies and standards, many of which share similarities with other colleges and universities.

SRR Assistant Kayoko recommends students contact SRR if they ever have any concerns regarding academics or if they want support from the College. Being able to see students succeed is the goal of all staff and faculty at 涩里番!
