Student accommodations are rental units that are specifically rented out to students. Our department recommends which provides fully furnished apartments and full utilities.
As Vancouver’s largest off-campus student housing provider, GEC Living has student residences located close to public transportation so you can easily transit to school.
Homestay provides the unique opportunity to live with a local family. For those seeking a more immersive cultural experience, homestay is a great option.
Living with a host family may also reduce feelings of homesickness by providing a supportive environment.

One last piece of advice for students is to start looking early. Leo recommends looking for housing options as soon as your visa is approved.
